Donna Murray Donna Murray is an expert genealogist with more than 25 years of research experience. An entertaining lecturer and a prolific writer – she has had more than 3000 articles published in three countries – Murray is a frequent contributor to Family Chronicle and Internet Genealogy magazines and wrote a weekly genealogy column for the St. Petersburg Times for nearly five years.


Murray is available as a guest speaker to clubs and organizations. She offers customized lectures, seminars and classes to meet the needs of her audience. She also teaches genealogy classes at local colleges and libraries, including researching on the internet. Fees are based accordingly.

Murray has a Master’s degree from the University of South Florida, was a news reporter for the Tampa Times and a feature writer for The Tampa Tribune and has completed post-graduate studies in research, copywriting and creative writing.
